ALIVE products work on the principle that, hereditary
or not, the hardening of the scalp tissue which causes
hair loss is to a great extent aggravated by layers
of sebum and perspiration salts. These deposits fill
the follicles and prevent hair growth by trapping weaker
hair behind a solid plug, preventing it from pushing
through.
Dry sebum also contains DHT,
the Androgen derived from testosterone, which causes
hair loss in individuals whose follicles are sensitive
to it. Thus, while removing the sebum and perspiration
plugs may not stop the production of DHT, it certainly
can slow down its devastating effects.
